Seeking Further Light
Do I need to be recruited to be a Mason?
Masons do not recruit. Seeking light in Masonry is up to the individual and they must ask to obtain further knowledge in the group.
Do I need to already know a Mason to join?
No exposure to masonry is required to petition to join. However, you will need to introduce yourself to other masons and have them vouch for your good character in order to proceed into the fraternity.
How do I become a Mason?
You have already taken the first step. All you have to do is ask. Contact a lodge, meet the brothers, and ask about joining.
